Fastener Warehouse has been supplying bolts, anchors and specialty fasteners out of Saskatoon since 1994, and what it actually sells is the absence of a problem: a line that does not stop because somebody ran out of a part worth eleven cents. That is a difficult thing to build a website around, because the obvious structure — here is our catalogue — describes the parts rather than the promise.
So the site leads with four solutions instead: vendor-managed inventory, bin systems, custom kitting and packaging, and specialty fasteners. Each has its own page and points at the other three, because a customer who needs one usually ends up needing two. Beneath that sits the catalogue, sorted into ten product types, and beside it three separate pages on quality, safety and environment, and company history — the material a procurement officer checks before a first order. Accessible navigation and markup were part of the specification rather than an afterthought.
