Web Design & Development Project Overview

Industrial buyers don’t browse. Somebody specifying a hydraulic cylinder already knows the bore, the stroke and the pressure they need, and the only thing they want from a manufacturer’s website is a fast, unambiguous answer to “can you make this.” XTENDED’s site is built to give it to them.

Everything sits in one flat silo under Services — cylinder manufacturing, cylinder repair, custom machining, the horizontal press — one page each, no sub-menus to climb, nothing between a search result and the page that answers the question. Two of those pages are for products XTENDED designed and named itself, X-Quill and X-Sight, and one is for RFID asset tracking, which isn’t machining at all and would be lost inside a services list that didn’t give it room. Every route ends at Get A Quote, because nothing on this site has a list price and pretending otherwise would waste everyone’s morning.

The homepage carries a shop tour on video and the about page carries the certifications, which between them do the job that photographs of a building never quite manage: showing a buyer the floor, the equipment and the paperwork before they commit a purchase order to a shop they’ve never walked into. Family-run out of Emerald Park since 2013.
