Thorpe came to us as three companies with three websites — Thorpe Industries, Metro Roofing & Sheet Metal, and the Thorpe Group — and a plan to build all three. Partway through, the plan changed. What shipped is one site for one company, working across four offices in Western Canada on membrane roofing, metal roofing, architectural wall systems, windows and glazing, waterproofing, and the repairs and maintenance that follow all of it.
Every service got its own page, because that is how people search — nobody types “building envelope contractor,” they type the thing on their roof. Completed work is organised as projects rather than a photo gallery, covering schools, hospitals, industrial facilities and airports, so a general contractor can check whether Thorpe has done their building type before. Qualifications, certifications and safety sit together, in the place somebody vetting a bidder goes looking. The backend is built so Thorpe’s own people keep it current, and everything underneath it — the server, the nightly copies, the watching — is ours.
