Prairie Diagnostic Services is Saskatchewan’s veterinary diagnostic laboratory, providing testing and diagnostic services to veterinary professionals across the province. Their previous website housed a lot of critical information — test lists, submission forms, service details, research documents — but much of it was buried in static PDFs and disconnected pages. We built PDS a fully custom WordPress site that puts all of that information where it belongs: on actual, searchable web pages with clear connections between related services, resources, and documents.
The biggest piece of the project was integrating PDS’s existing test list web service directly into the site. Test data is pulled in automatically through a backend import system and displayed through a searchable, filterable front-end interface — so veterinary clients can find exactly what they need without digging through spreadsheets or PDFs. Every service page, resource page, and tool links bidirectionally to related content across the site, so users always have a clear path to the next thing they need. The whole system runs on our managed hosting stack with daily backups, security monitoring, and ongoing support — because a site that veterinary professionals rely on daily needs to stay up and stay fast.
