Web Design & Development Project Overview

The Ridge on Amisk sells three different holidays out of one property. A lodge room is a place to sleep between fishing days. A private log cabin is somebody’s anniversary. Glamping is a third thing again, and the person who wants it is not the person who wants either of the other two. Before the site can do anything else, it has to let a visitor sort themselves.

That’s why the homepage puts stay type before dates — rooms, cabins, glamping, three doors, pick one. Everything downstream assumes you’ve already chosen. From the same screen it sends people out to the region and to the menu, because a stay at Denare Beach is a trip somebody plans whole — the drive, the days, the meals — not just a bed.

Booking is a request form, deliberately, and it says so out loud — fill this in and somebody will come back to you to confirm. A live availability calendar on a northern lodge is a promise the front desk has to keep every hour of every day, and a calendar that’s wrong costs more goodwill than a form ever will. This one gets answered by a person.
