The Pink Wig Foundation was started in memory of Tracy Dinh, and it does one thing: it gives money to women aged sixteen to fifty in Saskatchewan who are going through cancer treatment, so that a diagnosis does not also become a financial emergency. We have worked with Pink Wig from the beginning, through more than one version of the website, and the job has never really been marketing — it has been making sure two very different people can both find what they need in about ten seconds.
Those two people are someone who wants to give and someone who needs help, and the site puts Donate and Get Help side by side rather than making either of them hunt. Tracy’s story leads the navigation because it is the reason the foundation exists. Recipients, sponsors, the board and the volunteer path each get their own place, along with a media kit for the press coverage a fundraising campaign attracts. Beyond the website we handle the hosting, the backups, the security and the day-to-day Google Workspace and email support, so the people running the foundation can spend their time on the events instead.
