Becker Design’s first ever client. The original site we built for Cronin’s Painting lasted a whopping nine years before we replaced it with a simple, modern redesign in 2021 — which is either a compliment to the first one or an indictment of how often anybody should need a new website. We’d take either.
Cronin’s does interior painting, exterior painting and colour consulting, and the site says exactly that — one services page, no invented fourth and fifth to make the list look longer. The work that actually closes the sale is on Our Work: roughly four dozen photographs of finished rooms and finished houses, because a painter is hired on evidence and nothing on a website beats a wall somebody already painted. Everything ends at a quote form that asks for the project in the homeowner’s own words.
It’s a small website. It also generates a serious volume of leads for Dan, which is the whole argument — not every business needs a site tricked out with all the bells and whistles to get real value out of one.
