Overview

Web Design & Development Project Overview

Tammy Wandzura has been broking mortgages across Saskatchewan and Alberta since 2005, and the brief was unusually specific: the existing site ranked well and could not be allowed to stop. Everything that follows was shaped by that — this was not a rebuild that could afford to be brave, it was one that had to keep an earned position while replacing what sat underneath it.

Eight mortgage services are split onto eight pages, because pre-qualification, a first-time purchase, a renewal, a refinance and a cabin mortgage are five different moments in someone’s life and only one of them is being searched for at a time. Fifty-plus towns and cities get their own pages too, each written rather than duplicated. A Mortgage Process route explains the sequence for people who have never done this before, an online application hands off to the brokerage’s own portal, and the resources and blog carry the material that keeps the whole thing ranking.

Deep Dive

What actually went into Elite Mortgage Choice’s build, decision by decision — and the service behind each one.

Fifty towns, fifty pages, no copy-paste

A broker licensed across two provinces serves people who will never visit an office, and someone in Yorkton or Lloydminster searches for a broker in Yorkton or Lloydminster. So every town is written up separately — and genuinely separately, because fifty near-identical pages with the town swapped is the version of this that search engines learned to ignore years ago.

Eight services, or eight moments in a life

Pre-qualification. A first home. A renewal coming up. A refinance to clear debt. A cabin. Buying a place for a family member. Purchase plus improvements. These are not product variants — they are completely different situations arriving with different anxieties, and each one is a page written for the person in it rather than a row in a services table.

    Bullet points became sentences

The old site explained mortgages in bullet lists, which is how you write when you already understand the subject. The rebuild's content brief was explicit about replacing them with actual paragraphs — not for elegance, but because a first-time buyer needs the connective tissue between the points, and that is precisely what a bullet list removes.

The part where you explain what happens next

Most people arranging a mortgage have done it once before, or never. Mortgage Process is its own route in the navigation — the sequence, in order, plainly — because the question underneath every other question on a broker's site is what actually happens, and when. Answering it early is what makes somebody comfortable enough to start an application.

In their words
Tammy W. — Elite Mortgage Choice★★★★★

5 stars is not enough! Bryn came highly recommended and he did not and has not disappointed. He has been QUICK to reply to any requests. (lightning speed quick I should note). He broke down a contract and timeline and met and exceeded my expectations since the first meeting. My NEW website is fresh, up to date, functions well, and reflects what I have been trying to accomplish unsuccessfully for many years with other companies! Thank you Bryn! Look forward to working together for many years to come!
