Becker Design is in Saskatoon — out Highway 7 and south at Rosetown, about three hours. One site we built runs at a Swift Current address. That’s a short list and we’re not going to make it look longer.
Cheadle Street West
Legal Aid Saskatchewan runs its Swift Current area office on Cheadle Street West, covering a chunk of the southwest most people would call a long way from anywhere. We rebuilt the site that gets people to it — and built the backend so their own staff can keep it right without calling us.

Swift Current is a three-hour drive from our desk, so let’s deal with that directly.
The build itself doesn’t need anybody in the room. Kickoff is a call. The written content lives in a shared document, and how fast that fills in is what sets your launch date — not the highway, not us. The site gets built on a dev site, a private space on the web where the new website comes to life, and you have the link from day one, so there’s no big reveal and no waiting to see what we’ve been up to.
What the three hours are for is the handful of things that genuinely want a person on site — photographs of the actual place, a morning with whoever will be updating the site afterward. We plan those into the project rather than pretending they’ll happen casually.
And then the long part: hosting, updates, upkeep, backups, security, and support, six things on one bill, running quietly for years. That part has never noticed how far away anybody is.
Three hours is far enough to matter for some jobs
If the work needs somebody physically present more than a couple of times — a rotating front desk that needs retraining, product photography every season, meetings you’d want us in — then three hours each way is a real cost and you should hire closer to home. We’d tell you that on the first call, because you’d figure it out eventually and we’d rather you heard it from us.
The case we’re built for is the one where you want the thing done once and done correctly, then kept current for years by somebody who answers their own email. That job runs the same from 270 kilometres as it does from across the street, and it’s what we’ve spent 14 years doing.
