Becker Design builds websites out of Saskatoon, an hour and a half east, down the Yellowhead. One website we built runs at a North Battleford address, and we’d rather tell you that plainly than dress up a list.
The one we can point at
Legal Aid Saskatchewan runs its Battlefords office out of the Provincial Building on 102nd Street. We rebuilt their site — a provincial organization whose visitors mostly arrive worried and in a hurry — and their own staff keep it current. One address is a thin proof band by the standards of this site. It’s the honest one for this city.

People ask where we are before they ask anything else, so: Saskatoon, 137 kilometres east on Highway 16.
Here’s what that changes, which is less than you’d guess. The kickoff is a call. The written content lives in a shared document — and how fast that document fills in is what actually sets your timeline, not the drive. The build happens on a dev site, a private space on the web where the new website comes to life, and you get the link on day one so you can watch from your own desk. When it’s done we flip a switch at the domain.
What the highway is for is the part nobody puts on a website: photographs of the real place, a morning with whoever’s going to keep the thing updated. After launch it’s hosting, updates, upkeep, backups, security, and support — six things, one bill, and none of them care how far away you are.
One client here is not a claim to know this market
Plenty of web designers would take a single Battlefords client and build a page around “our deep roots in the North Battleford business community.” We have one client here. That’s a fact, not a foothold, and stretching it would be the first dishonest thing on this website.
What we’d actually say is this: we build websites for service businesses, we’ve done it 14 years and hundreds of times, and the work doesn’t change much between one prairie city and the next. If you want somebody who can be in your building every second week, hire local — we’d tell you that on the call. If you want it built once, properly, and looked after for years, the drive is ninety minutes and it has never been the problem.

Have you built anything up here?
One: Legal Aid Saskatchewan’s Battlefords office on 102nd Street runs on a site we built. One is a small number and we’re not going to inflate it.
Can you take over the site we already have?
Maybe — we’d want to look first. Sometimes it’s sound and the right move is to take over the account, move it onto our servers and manage it from there. Sometimes it’s overdue for a rebuild, and telling you otherwise would just be selling you a year of patching. We’ll tell you which, for free.
What does a website cost?
More than the cheapest quote you’ll get and less than an agency’s. We don’t publish figures because the honest answer depends on what the site has to do. You’ll have a real number in writing before you commit, and nothing in it is set in stone.
