Moose Jaw Web Design

Becker Design builds websites out of Saskatoon, about two and a half hours down Highway 11 and then west at Chamberlain. One site we built runs at a Moose Jaw address. We’d rather open with that number than pad it.

One address

Ominica Street West

Legal Aid Saskatchewan runs its Moose Jaw area office on Ominica Street West. We rebuilt the site the whole province uses to find it — criminal and family law, people arriving worried and in a hurry, nothing allowed to be buried. Their own staff keep it current, which was the other requirement.

Nothing, is the short answer, and here’s the long one.

A website build is mostly writing, deciding and checking, and none of those need anybody in the room. The kickoff is a call. The written content goes in a shared document — the single thing that decides your timeline, because a project waits on words, never on a highway. The build happens on a dev site, a private space on the web where the new website comes to life, and you get the link on day one so you can watch it from your own screen instead of waiting for a reveal.

The drive is for the parts that genuinely want a person: photographs of the real place, a morning with whoever’s going to be updating the site once it’s yours. And after launch, the hosting, updates, upkeep, backups, security, and support — six things on one bill, none of which have ever been affected by where you are.

The straight answer

Moose Jaw is a town that can tell when you’re selling

So we won’t. We have one client with a Moose Jaw address, we’ve never had an office here, and there’s no version of this page where we claim to know your market better than you do.

What we’d offer instead is the thing we’re actually good at: building a website once, properly, so it doesn’t need doing again in three years, and then looking after it so it doesn’t quietly rot. If you want somebody who can be in your building on short notice and keep being there, hire local — genuinely, we’d say that on the call. If you want it built right and maintained for the long haul, two and a half hours has never once been the reason a project went sideways.

Who this tends to be

Four we can actually speak to

One has a Moose Jaw address behind it. Three don’t, and say so. The other eleven industries we build for aren’t on this page, because there’d be nothing true to put under them.

Law firms — including Legal Aid Saskatchewan

Legal Aid Saskatchewan’s area office is on Ominica Street West. Their old site buried the information people came for; the new one puts it first and their staff maintain it themselves. On time and on budget, in their words. More on law firm websites.

  • 02

    Travel and tourism

The one industry where Moose Jaw genuinely operates differently from anywhere else we work — a small city with a real visitor economy. Our tourism builds are Saskatooning, ExploreSSEP, Valley Zipline and The Ridge on Amisk. None here yet. More on travel and tourism.

  • 03

    Restaurants

Vern’s Pizza, Mano’s, Calories, Greenline. All Saskatoon-side. A restaurant site’s job doesn’t change with the postal code: menu, hours, location, ordering, then everything else. More on restaurant websites.

  • 04

    Contractors

Mesa Mechanical, NexGen, Stevenson Industrial, Reveal Exteriors — the trades are the biggest slice of what we build, and none of them are here yet. More on contractor websites.

Asked and answered

Questions we actually get asked

Usually in the first ten minutes of the call.

  • Where are you, actually?

Saskatoon. Two hours and change — down Highway 11 and west at Chamberlain, 225 kilometres. No Moose Jaw office, and we’re not about to pretend otherwise.

  • Have you built anything in Moose Jaw?

One. Legal Aid Saskatchewan’s office on Ominica Street West runs on a site we built. That’s the honest count, and it’s the reason this page is shorter than the Regina one.

  • Would we actually see you?

For the parts that need it — photography, a walkthrough, a session training whoever’s going to run the site. Not every second week, and we’d rather say so now than have you find out in month three.

  • Can we update it ourselves?

Yes, and most clients do. You get a backend built around your own content — your services, your people, your hours — so changing something is filling in the thing you want changed. The layout isn’t yours to break.

04 — FOUR QUESTIONS. ANYTHING ELSE, JUST ASK ON THE CALL.
