Nobody’s ever hired us because of backups, and no part of the service earns its keep more thoroughly. A website can be undone by a bad update, a compromised plugin, a server failure, or one honest mistake in an admin screen — and every one of those disasters is a shrug if yesterday’s copy is sitting safely somewhere else.
So here’s exactly how the copies work, because “we take backups” is a claim every host makes and almost none of them itemize.
Every night, three full copies of your website land in three different locations. One stays on the server the site lives on — the quick restore point for everyday oops-moments. One goes to secure cloud storage run by a different company in a different place, untouchable by anything that could happen to the primary server. And one lands in a shared folder you can open yourself, any day of the week, and see your website sitting there in file form.
We keep a full year of history, too — so the question is never “do we have a backup?” but “which day would you like back?” A problem discovered three weeks late is still a solved problem.
That shared folder deserves its own paragraph, because it’s the part almost nobody else offers. It’s a backup repository — which is just a fancy way of saying a folder in your own cloud storage that fills up with dated copies of your entire website, along with plain-English instructions for what to do with them. If you ever needed to bring the website back from the dead without us — any WordPress professional on earth could do it from that folder — everything required is already in your hands.
